MTV Base is hosting its spectacular awards show and music festival called the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) on 20 February 2021 in Kampala, Uganda.

And the nominations for the 2021 MAMA Awards have been officially announced and some of your favourite entertainment stars have hit big.

First-time players, including Tems, Koffee, Fireboy DML, and former winners Davido, Diva Savage and Stanley Enow are back on the MTV Africa Music Awards 2021 list of nominees.

About the 2021 MAMA Awards

MTV Africa and MTV Base have announced the new edition of their continental flagship awards in 2021.

MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) will be a virtual event in partnership with Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, on 20th February 2021, which will present the ultimate in African culture, music, and creativeness.

The event will air on MTV Base (DSTV Channel 322) and MTV (DSTV Channel 130). The one-hour MAMA-themed MTV World Stage feature will be rebroadcast on BET Africa and BET International plus MTV channels across many continents.
